Introducing Farmigo 2.0!

All Farmigo systems are scheduled to be transitioned to the Farmigo 2.0 dashboard by the end of April.  You will receive additional communication with more details as each of you are transitioned to the new dashboard.  During the transition period, you will continue to have access to your old dashboard and you will be notified when access to the old dashboard will be turned off.

Using the latest web technology, we have designed the new administrative dashboard with you in mind and packed it with helpful features.  The entire dashboard is now fully accessible from the web browser of your mobile device. 

Accepted Browsers
The Farmigo 2.0 dashboard is optimized for the following web browsers, including Chrome and Firefox which are free to download.

System Update: Editing Member Links for a New Season

Do you manage your farm seasonally? If so, this notification is for you!

There are four Farmigo links that you provide for members:

Sign-up, Account Management, Additional Payments and the Store link. 

In the past, each of these links had to be edited every time you switched to a new season. This means emailing members to let them know about the link changes, and updating links on your web page.

We have officially changed these links so that in the future, only ONE will need to be edited each season.

The Sign-Up link is the only link that will change with each season. The Account Management, Additional Payments, and Store links will all be the same, saving you a little bit of time as you prepare for a new season!

Web store items are transferred automatically between seasons, so you never have to add items twice. 



Technical Advisor Tip: Members are able to view multiple seasons from their account. When you create a new season, members will be able to switch between multiple seasons:

The new Dashboard is being built in HTML5, the most advanced technology for building Internet interfaces that are optimized for personal computers as well as mobile devices. Farmigo was the pioneer in CSA software 4.5 years ago and is now reinventing what will be the new state of the art system for managing CSAs. You are going to love the new look and feel of the system and the power it will bring to your business. The entire new dashboard will be accessible from your mobile device or tablet bringing you even more control at the your fingertips! We will begin rolling out the new system in time for Summer 2014! Promote Items in Your Webstore!

Want to promote specific items this holiday season? Here's how!
  1. Go to your webstore
  2. Find the item you want to promote
  3. Click on details for that item
  4. Copy the URL
  5. Hyperlink to the URL on your website or in an email. When members click on the hyperlink, it will bring them directly to the item in your webstore

SYSTEM UPDATE - Improved Setting to Help with Store Inventory

This week the software development team released a software update which will reduce the chance that a member will order an item that is out of stock from your web store. It has been observed that members may place items in their cart and take a long time to check out.  When this happens, the items they placed in their cart might have already been sold to another member.

To show the member an updated store inventory, the member will be asked to refresh their current store session when the following conditions are met:
  1. The member's store session has been open for more than 60 minutes.
  2. There are items in the store with less than 20 orders available.
If a member meets these 2 conditions when editing their web store order, the following will happen:

  1. This message will pop up: "Your session has timed out. Click OK to refresh the page and get up-to-date information."
  2. When the member clicks "OK", the web store page will refresh and any changes that the member made to their order during that session will not be saved.

The New Payments Report

We have enhanced the Deposits Received report and renamed it the Payments report.  This new report will not only show you all the payments you have received (as the Deposits Received report already did) … It will also show you a summary of:
  • Pending payments that are past due or due in the future
  • Rejected payments
  • Complimentary payments
  • Fees
