Today's tip of the week comes from a suggestion from Chris Bodnar from Close to Home Organics! Thanks Chris! If you have any great suggestions for us to share with the Farmigo family, please let us know!
Chris realized that some of his members were going great distances to retrieve their orders because they REALLY wanted local produce. People are often willing to go out of their way to get great produce. He was realizing, however, that these people tended not to sign up again after one season because it was such a hassel to drive long distances to get their produce.
So, when setting up his new season, he wanted to figure out a new pick up spot that would work for all of his customers. So he figured out a quick and easy way to create a map with pinpoints for all of his customers.
When customers sign up for your program through Farmigo, they enter their home address. Watch this video to learn how to use Batchgeo.com to create a map of your customers home addresses in seconds! These maps will help you identify clusters of customers and choose a potential new pick up spot.
