A Time Saving Trick for Adding Images

2/20/2013

Here's a quick tip to help you save time for adding images to your Farmigo system!

If you already have a website with images or have found an image on the internet, you can easily copy the Image URL and paste it in your dashboard.

To quickly add images to your system:

  1. Find the image you want
  2. Right click on it
  3. Select copy image URL
  4. Go into your dashboard and find the item or producer profile you would like to paste the image into. Paste the image URL in the relevant field. (Ctrl + V on a PC, Command + V on a Mac)
Keep in mind that if the image ever comes off the website that the image link will break and the image will no longer show up. This is why we recommend setting up a web album and then getting the direct link from there. Also, you cannot re-size an image if you use this method. For the most part, if an image is a landscape rectangle, the system will re-sizei t correctly skewing it. If the image is a portrait rectangle, the system will stretch and skew it. We hope this saves you some time!
