How many times a week do you fail to remember your password to a website you are sure you have an account with? You sit there going through all of the possible options until finally one works or you give up in frustration. Whether it is your bank account or your favorite music website, it is impossible to keep all the usernames and passwords straight. In attempt to stay off of the list of forgotten passwords, This week, Farmigo will launch a new feature, allowing members to easily sign up and log in using their Facebook accounts. Members who do not wish to connect using Facebook or do not have a Facebook account can still sign up or log in using their email address and selected password.
Let's take a look at what the new signup and login processes will look like.
Let's take a look at what the new signup and login processes will look like.
Signing Up via Signup Wizard
When a member reaches the Contact Info step in the Signup Wizard they can choose to create an account with Facebook, create an account with email and password, or log in using an existing account. When they choose to log in using Facebook, their Facebook email address and password will automatically become their Farmigo login. Once they enter the rest of the required information (i.e. address, phone number, etc.), they can complete the signup process.

Q&A
To help you manage some questions that may come from your members we have assembled a list of most frequently asked questions and answers.
Q. I signed up with Facebook, but I want to login with my email and password.
A. Since the member signed up with Facebook, they will not be asked to fill in a password. To fix this, the admin should reset their password from the member card admin tab in the dashboard. The member will get an email with a temporary password that they can use to login using their email address.
Q. I tried to login/create an account using Facebook, but the Farmigo site is stuck loading.
A. When a member selects to login or create an account using Facebook, we redirect them to the Facebook login in a new window where they should enter their Facebook credentials. The loading sign will remain on the Farmigo site until they complete the Facebook login. Once the member completes the Facebook login process or closes the window, the loading sign will stop. If the Facebook window does not pop-up, they should refresh the Farmigo page and retry.
Q. I selected the option to create an account with Facebook, but was not asked to provide my Facebook credentials. Is everything set correctly?
Yes. Facebook credentials are usually stored as cookies in the browser and will automatically fill in.
Q. I have two Facebook accounts. When I selected to login to Farmigo, it automatically used the wrong Facebook credentials. How can I login with the right credentials?
Log out from Facebook first. Then, when you try to login to Farmigo with your Facebook, you will be prompted to enter the correct Facebook credentials.
Q. I connected my Facebook account to my Farmigo account. However, I now have a new Facebook account that I want to connect to my Farmigo account. How can I do that?
Go into your old Facebook account and select Account Settings --> Apps. From the Apps list, remove the permission for the Farmigo application and logout from Facebook. Then, login to Farmigo using Facebook and enter the details of the new Facebook account.
This list should help you answer most of your customer's questions, but if any more do come up, please contact support@farmigo.com. This new feature will not affect how you manage sign-ups or view member information. It is a new tool to help make your members' lives a little bit easier.
