Solving Member Mysteries

11/7/2013

We want to give you the in's and out's, tips and tricks for figuring out answers to member questions. We are going to give you a few steps that we always take in order to get some insight on a member's accounts.

Read on to learn more.

Understand a Member's Balance - The History Tab

The history tab acts as a balance sheet for your member. Besides tracking what your member has paid, it records each delivery that your member has received. Here, you can look back and count the number of deliveries recorded for the member and review past web store orders. When trying to figure out why a member has a certain balance, we always turn to the history tab first. It may take some mental math, but the information provided here can bring you to an answer.

Uncovering a Member's Past - The Email Tab

The email tab is our secret weapon in uncovering a member's past. The automatic alerts that are sent out by the system, such as the Web Order Confirmation or Pickup Site Change Request, are ONLY SENT when a MEMBER takes an action through their account. If an admin makes a change in the system, you will not see that one of these emails was triggered. This is what often clues us in to whether or not it was a system admin or a member making a change to an account. You can look at historic emails to find out more information about:
  • The member's current/previous pick-up location
  • The member's current/previous web order
  • The member's current/previous subscriptions
